Mandean Baptism

During our expeditions to southern Iran, we were able to record a unique material documenting the Mandean baptism ceremony in Ahwaz (capital of Khuzestan) held by priests in the direct tradition of John the Baptist. The film that will complete our meeting is absolutely unique on a global scale and has been presented exclusively in Oxford and Wrocław.
