She has been a performer and co-creator in most of Teatr ZAR theatre company’s pieces as well as researcher and pedagogue at the Grotowski Institute in Wrocław. As well as being a theatre practitioner she was the inniciator of the cyclical festival event VoicEncounters, hosted by th Grotowski Institute, and dedicated to the phenomena of vocal traditions around the world. She also co-organized, in collaboration with CPR (Wales), the international festival “Giving Voice” in Wrocław in 2009. She has worked alongside Studio Matejka and has been responsible for some of their vocal/singing training.
She conducts her own research in the domain of expressive voice and leads the master classes Voice Tale (Speaking Song) in Poland and internationally. She is an independent artist in both theatre and film particularly interested in the use of song in performance. She has participated in various international theatre and film productions in the USA and Germany. She was brought up in Spain and studied theatre at Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama in London. Is a proud mother of 3 children.
